Hi All

Im delighted to tell you a perfect storm of some extra free time this week along with several systems that were close to being finished means that this is a massive update. Before i go into it, im sure there will be bugs so as always please report via the usual channels and i appreciate all the work youve done with reporting bugs and suggesting features so i hope you enjoy the update:

Here we go…

New Content and Systems
The Casting Room is now live, giving you a dedicated space to manage your creative direction between shows. One Night Only deals are included as part of this system, allowing you to bring in talent on a single-show basis without committing to a full contract.

Agent Intent has been overhauled on match segments. Selections now carry additional commentary lines that reflect the intent you have chosen, making the simulation feel more responsive to your decisions. The Show Summary has also been completely rebuilt from the ground up.

Manager Hooks are now in the game. Assign managers to wrestlers, set their role type, track how pairings are performing, and trigger narrative angles manually when the story calls for it. The system is built around the booker being in control — nothing fires without your say so.

Company Facilities have been added. You can now build and maintain your physical infrastructure, with each facility affecting different areas of your operation depending on its tier and condition.
Edit Identity has received a significant overhaul. Wrestler entrances have been expanded, a Career Timeline has been added giving you a full picture of a wrestler’s history with your company, and a Character Arc system is now in place to help you plan and track where a wrestler is heading creatively.

The Directives tab has been overhauled so that backstage incidents can be directly converted into active story arcs rather than simply being resolved and forgotten.

A Potential Ability Graph has been added to wrestler profiles, giving you a clearer read on a wrestler’s ceiling and where their development currently stands relative to it.
UI Overhaul

The visual overhaul that has been in progress for some time is now live. This is still a work in progress and will continue to roll out across remaining screens in upcoming updates, but the majority of the game’s core pages have been updated. The ShowRunner has also received minor visual improvements alongside this, and morale indicators are now visible on wrestlers directly in the Locker Room roster view.

Quality of Life
The TopHud calendar is now interactive. Global Search has been adjusted. A save reminder now appears when exiting the Database Editor to prevent accidental data loss. The tutorial has been overhauled for new players.

Fixes:

Injured wrestlers were sending daily messages when they should not have been
Fault lines were not resolving after an option was selected
Articles were displaying “undefined” instead of the wrestler’s gimmick name
Company flags were not appearing on the influence tab of company profiles
Injured wrestlers in some cases were not returning to active status
Wrestlers were requesting pay rises and releases at an unreasonable frequency
All offered TV deals were defaulting to Monday morning at 9am

Known Issues:
Entrance options are messed up in the wrestler table of the database editor.
Directives looks blank until an incident.

For those of you who got through the above slog, i want to again thank you for all the support, kind words and your continued patience with BPW. You may have recognised that this is my first ever game so its all a learning curve for me but ive thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far and i hope this update more than ever shows my commitment to making BPW the best game around
